1. Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the KlarMiet website at the domain klarmiet.de and all web applications offered there. It is prepared pursuant to § 12 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and European Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

2. Conformity status

This website is partially conformant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and the harmonised standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1. The site is continuously being optimised.

The known limitations are listed in the following section.

3. Non-accessible content

The following content is currently not fully accessible for the reasons stated:

• PDF documents (upload): Uploaded user documents may not contain adequate alternative text descriptions, as they were created externally and are outside the Provider's control (WCAG 1.1.1).
• AI-generated analysis results: Some AI outputs contain complex tabular structures that are not yet fully marked up semantically (WCAG 1.3.1). Optimisations are in progress.
• Contrast in charts and graphics: Individual visual information elements on the home page do not yet consistently achieve the 3:1 contrast ratio for graphical elements (WCAG 1.4.11).
• Focusability of overlays: Modal dialogs (e.g. the payment process via Stripe Checkout) are provided by a third party and cannot be fully controlled by the Provider.
• Keyboard navigation in complex forms: Some multi-step input forms have limited keyboard operability. This will be revised in an upcoming version.

We are continuously working to remedy these limitations. Priority is given to changes that affect the largest number of users.
